Hey Captain, check out a few of our references!

Michel Wirt, GBS Yachttransport

“An outstanding improvement in boat- and shipping industry.
We as GBS ship hundreds of boats and prefer foam made cradles against steel or wooden cradles. Handling, re-usability, costs and stability are the pros against no cons.”

Mika Holopainen, Hydrolink Boatcenter

Foam Fellows’ boat cradles have been genuinely pleasant for us to use for several reasons. They are lightweight, and you don’t need dozens of wooden blocks to cradle a boat the traditional way. There are clearly fewer pieces of supporting material overall, and moving everything into place is easy because the cradles are light and can be carried and handled by one person.

A major advantage for us is that the cradles can be left under the shrink wrap. Once the boat is shrink-wrapped, it can be lifted onto its base without any additional blocking, and in practice the wrapped boat doesn’t need to be re-blocked at all. This means the boat is immediately ready for delivery—even across oceans.

We also feel the cradles are safer compared to traditional solutions, because there are fewer working steps involved and zero tools needed. And since the cradles are cut to match the hull shape, the boat “settles” into them and remains firmly supported.

We have also had Foam Fellows produce dedicated trade show cradles for us, which are wider than standard. Thanks to these, we didn’t even need side supports for a 45-foot boat. In our opinion, the cradles look presentable enough on their own, so there’s no need to cover them separately at boat shows.

We recommend these cradles for transport companies, because with Foam Fellws boat cradles a standard flatbed trailer or a truck trailer works perfectly well—there’s no need for equipment specifically designed for boat transport. Their load capacity and stability also make it possible to store boats long-term on Foam cradles. A strong recommendation!
